Traditional woman’s shawl or blanket (handira in Arabic; tabrdouhte in Tamazight). It’s a hand-loomed textile, sometimes with woven or braided cords that tie the
garment around the wearer’s shoulders (signs of their existence remain on this one). This one could have been handwoven by the women of the Ait Haddidou tribe, near Imilchil, in a remote area of
the High Atlas Mountains of Morocco.
