Natural wool with a light rose/red coloration, blue and red ornaments
Felt-making is a traditional art of the Turkic tribes of Central Asia. Nomads used felt for its insulating qualities and lightness for transport.
Although this textile may look like a modern work of art, it is such a nomadic textile. It is a very unusual example, decorated with colored wool
cords creating a vibrant and archaic pattern.
