Plum/brown base, rost, green, blue, black and beige

This very old Ghutschan piece is composed of narrow bands of warp-faced weave sewn together with allover symbolic motifs, as talismans for protection or fertility. Minor signs of wear are part of the patina of old textiles. This piece in beautiful natural dyes is rather difficult to find these days.
