Very elegant mix of cerulean blue, sand and ivory, with raspberry red

 

This old Swedish Folk kilim consists of a well balanced decorative field with a medallion containing a stylized deer. This piece is clearly an "Art nouveau" production. Some weakness and small holes resulting from the oxidation of the brown colored thread are visible, but still a wonderful piece.
