Old Boujad rug in hues of red, old rose and black, with touches of orange and light vervain green

This piece is made using the “rag rug” technique, a method to create a hand-knotted piece with less wool by using other old textiles for the base. A truly magical piece; both the motifs and colors change depending on the angle from which you view it. Wear is consistent with age and use.
